Why can’t I pick up the juice whenever I want?
Because we think in bottles, not in bulk. We don’t stock juice, we produce all orders just before the delivery. This means that the juice is the freshest possible, but it also means that you have to order first. If you really need your juice pronto, check out our retailer network in the "Find Us" section.
Why don't you deliver the juice every day?
Due to our juice extraction method, we don't have to, which means that it's more convenient for you! What does this mean? We use a hydraulic press, which as opposed to centrifugal juicers, sets itself apart in a few remarkable ways: It has a greater yield of juice and therefore greater vitamin and mineral extraction/absorption. This method is a two-part process: first the food goes through a grinding and cutting process, and then it's put in the press. 9 tons of pressure extract every drop of goodness from the fruits and veggies. Our hydraulic press system also keeps the live enzymes intact for an extended period, which is essential to preserving nutrients and flavour. Almost all of the pulp is pressed out which means less oxygen. This means longer-lasting, tastier, more nutritionally dense juice. Pulp contains air, and when that pulp is left in the juice it oxidizes very quickly. It is estimated that this method extracts 3-5 times more vitamins and minerals than juice from other machines. After we've cold-pressed and bottled our juice, we use an extra measure of food safety to our juices called High Pressure Processing (HPP). This makes our juices safe to sell and consume without adding heat. HPP not only eliminates any risk of harmful bacteria but also extends the natural shelf life of our juices. When we’re using cold pressure instead of heat, we’re ensuring that the final product stays raw as nature intended, delicious and nutrient dense.
What happens if I am not home when you deliver?
Our drivers are strictly advised to never leave juice unattended. If a human being is not available to receive a delivery, we will call you. It is your responsibility to be at home within the time slot you agreed to upon ordering, and if we can’t reach you the juice will be thrown away. We do not offer refunds in such cases.
